The school is a part of the University of Borås. The campus is located in the city centre, close to parks, shops, restaurants,and the city transport interchange. 2021-04-15 Design, textile materials, and challenging existing textile techniques are in focus of the bachelor’s programme Textile Design. With knowledge in technology and the latest research in materials and fibres, the students can test the limits of how these materials could be designed. Sweden's textile industry began to build up in the early 19th century. Decline of the Swedish textile industry from the 1950s resulted in reduced employment leading into the mid-1970s.
